Who can apply for a CDA?

  • Early Child Care staff working in a center based or family care facility.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

 

  • Be a high school junior or senior enrolled in a high school tech program for Early Childhood Education.
  • 480 hours of experience in the age group that they want a CDA in.
  • 120 hours of formal child care education.
