Preparing for Back to School: A Focus on Young Children’s Mental Health

“Preparing for Back to School” is an interactive, web based learning and consultation model specifically aimed at supporting teachers and school staff in preparing for preschool and elementary school age children to return to “school” in the fall. While we don’t know exactly what school will look like in August, we know that children’s mental health has been impacted by the global pandemic and the changes in their routines and relationships. Our goal is to showcase some expert panel members discussing topics related to children’s mental health, as well as an opportunity for school based providers to discuss de-identified cases, scenarios, and get peer support.

The four virtual sessions will be weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 PM, beginning on August 19, 2020 and ending on September 9, 2020

If you think this is an opportunity that your staff and colleagues will benefit from, please forward this on to them (registration link and more details can be found below). We are reaching out to preschool and elementary school faculty and staff in the Upper Valley region but are open to others joining as well- including other professionals who work with children in this age range or schools outside of our catchment area. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
