Vermont State Park Passes for Early Childhood Educators

With the arrival of the warm weather, the Vermont Department for Children and Families, Child Development Division, is partnering with the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources to provide Vermont State Park passes to Vermont’s early childhood educators.
This program is a tool to support the mental health and well-being of Vermont’s early childhood educators, who we recognize provide tireless support to the children and families they serve, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vermont has many beautiful state parks that offer a wide range of activities from camping, fishing, hiking, and swimming; we encourage child care providers and their staff to use this upcoming opportunity to experience them with their family and friends. Visiting a Vermont State Park is a great way to get outside, take in the fresh air, explore, recharge, and have fun!
The passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible individuals. The details of this program and eligibility are still being worked out. We will provide more information within the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your email.
We hope you have a safe, cool (see Hot Weather Tips).
